Round Towers V St. Kevin's
1-6 v 3-7
Easter Sunday morning game, terrible day for a game with Easter eggs to be eaten but both clubs managed to field teams. Conditions were far from ideal rain throughout, a strong wind and a solid hill to deal with in the first half. Our lads led early and stayed ahead for the game. Towers came back strongly near the start of the second half running the ball into the wind but the lads dug in with some fierce defending and we pulled away again in the last 10 minutes. Great effort all round from 1-15 on a hard day for scoring getting the result. We celebrated with some cream eggs sent over by the Towers lads which brought out the smiles. We had the County manager down to support his home club and check out the talent on display so I think he may have taken a few notes so keep up the good work lads.
